Rockwall, TX - Shearon Kay Kinsey, age 79 of Rockwall, TX, a resident of Rock Ridge, passed away June 22, 2025. She was born on September 16, 1945 in Whitesboro TX to Martin Luther Hite and Edna Mae Hite (Huffaker). She graduated from Whitesboro High School in 1964 and was the Valedictorian of her class. She built a career in accounting and financial management, retiring from Intercontinental Manufacturing in Garland, TX. She was an avid collector of Fenton glass artwork but what defined her was her sacrificial love for family and friends. This was best exemplified in the countless hours she spent volunteering at her church, youth sports leagues and serving as a committed fan to her son and both of her granddaughters, in the stands at every event. Shearon was a member of North Pointe Church of Christ. She is survived by her son, Donald Hite Kinsey and wife Tari; granddaughters, Erin and Avery Kinsey, and sister, Brenda Robbins. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 48 years, Donald Ray Kinsey and by her parents, Martin Luther Hite and Edna Mae Hite. A private graveside service was held at 10am, Wednesday July 2, 2025, in Rest Haven Memorial Park with Russell Rogers officiating.
