In her professional life, she worked at Bodin Concrete Co. for thirty-seven years until her retirement in September 2019. Loretta is survived by her children: Sheila Schwertner and husband Ray, David Myers and wife Nina; grandchildren: Jared Schwertner and wife Tara, Jordan Schwertner, Lacy Livingston and husband Mark, Amanda O'Connor and husband Dan, Jason Myers and wife Shelly; great-grandchildren: Mia O'Connor, Stella O'Connor, and Lydia O'Connor, Ethan Schwertner, Emmalin Schwertner, and Levi Schwertner; sisters: Charlotte Bodin and Linda McKnight; and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband, Harry F. Myers; her brother, Hoyt Parsons; and her sister, Alana Provence. Loretta will be missed deeply and profoundly by everyone whose lives she touched with her gracious spirit and her loving heart. Funeral services officiated by Pastor Jesse Crouch were held at 1:00pm on Monday, October 7, 2019, at Reflections at Rest Haven Funeral Home in Rockwall.
