Lisbeth Lewis Kidd, a Texas native who loved to have fun, passed away peacefully on Jan. 31, 2025 at her home in Rockwall, Texas.

Born on April 7, 1949 in Amarillo, Texas to the late Jane (Cox) Lewis and Robert E. Lewis, Lisbeth's warmth and generosity touched the lives of all who knew her. Lisbeth's journey through life was marked by a profound commitment to her family and her community.

She was the beloved wife of Mark Kidd, with whom she shared a beautiful life since their marriage on July 7, 1997 in San Antonio, Texas. Together, they built a life based on mutual respect, love, and an unwavering partnership.

Surviving Lisbeth is her devoted husband, Mark Kidd; her sister, Patti Everett, and her husband, Richard Everett of Houston, Texas. She was a cherished aunt to her niece, Jenny Everett, her husband, Kelly, and their son, Noah, of Austin, Texas. Lisbeth enjoyed family gatherings.

A graduate of the University of Texas in Austin, Lisbeth's intellect and determination led her to a successful career as a mortgage loan officer. Her professional life was characterized by integrity, a strong work ethic and an unwavering commitment to her clients.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Lisbeth was an avid gardener, who found solace and joy in the beauty of her surroundings, tending to her plants with the same care she showed to those around her. Long walks with her beloved dogs were among her favorite pastimes, reflecting her love for animals and the outdoors.

Lisbeth was a dedicated volunteer at Patriot Paws, where she cared for dogs for wounded service members, providing comfort and support to both the animals and their owners. Additionally, she volunteered at state parks as an information guide, sharing her knowledge and enthusiasm for nature with visitors.

Those who had the pleasure of knowing Lisbeth will remember her for her radiant smile, her compassionate heart and her fun-loving ways.

As we say goodbye to Lisbeth Lewis Kidd, we celebrate a life lived with purpose and love and fun.

She will be greatly missed...
