Diane Luby Hogan, wife of Jerry Hogan and mother to three children, Cavette Davis, Charla Yelle and Joe Collins, died early the morning of Feb. 5, 2025 at Methodist Hospital in Dallas.

Diane was a resident of the Rockwall-Heath area since the late 1970's and was a very successful real estate agent, continually being number one in sales in her office.

Earlier, as president of the local realtor organization, she was instrumental is getting MLS introduced to the county and was the first individual to be entered in the Rockwall Realtor Hall of Fame.

Her real estate career spanned many years, with her expertise being the business side of sales, and was widely known for her ability to put together real estate deals that enabled her clients to have long-lasting successful relationships.

Diane was an avid sailor in her earlier days and became a great cruise advocate in her later years. She loved the island of Cozumel, Mexico, and many happy years were spent in vacation there.

Diane was born in Kilgore, Texas, daughter of Elwyn and Claudia Spear. She graduated from Texas Women's University with a marketing degree, which she used so successfully in selling and making happy new homeowners throughout the county.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Caree Arceneaux, a sister Dashielle Graves, and both of her parents. Along with her living children, she has eight grandchildren and nine grandchildren. She also considered the four children of her husband to be part of her family.

Her health has not been good this last year, with frequent trips to several of the hospitals.

Diane loved the area, the people and her real estate career here in Rockwall County. She has many, many friends that will mess her deeply.

Her passing is a loss for all of us still here.
