Ore City, TX - David Wayne Smithers passed away on June 25, 2024. He was the founder of Counting Stars Ranch, a local non-profit that supports veterans and first responders. David leaves behind his wife, Vicki, his children Ryan & Rachel, his grandsons Fabian & Josiah, and many family and friends. A celebration of life will be held at Counting Stars Ranch Saturday, July 13th at 9am.
