Bobby Moore (Bob) Obituary

Bonham, Texas - It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Bobby Gene Moore, who departed this life on 4/12/2025 at the age of 82. He passed away peacefully at Sam Rayburn Memorial Veterans Center with his two sons, Brian and Jason, by his side. He is leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and cherished memories.

Born on 11/21/1942 in Floyd, Tx, Bob was the beloved son of Veola and Jim Moore. He grew up in Greenville, Tx.

He honorably served in the military aboard the USS Constellation and was a steward to his country.

Bob was a devoted spouse, a loving parent, a loyal friend, and will be remembered most for his warmth, generosity, sense of humor, and dedication to his family. Bob is survived by Carol Moore, his loving wife of 62 years, their two children, Jason Moore and Brian Moore, grandchildren Tyler Moore and Aden Moore, siblings Linda Saxton, Ruby Houston, and Jerry Moore and many other relatives and friends who will miss him dearly.

The family would like to thank the staff at the VA hospital for their compassionate care and tireless devotion to their residents and families. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Wounded Warrior Project or your local veterans' organization.

Bob's spirit will live on in the hearts of all who were lucky enough to know him.
