Rockwall, TX - Betty Ruth Cole Ashlock, 84, passed away surrounded by family. Born April 14, 1941, in Wichita Falls, Texas, she was raised in Anson and later attended Texas Woman's University in Denton, and met her husband of 65 years, Donald Earl Ashlock; they married June 12, 1960.

She is survived by her husband; children, Anna Magie and Linus Ashlock; their spouses; brother, Henry Edward Cole Jr.; and grandchildren Emily Ashlock, Ashlyn Bayes, Matthew Ashlock, Kendall Bayes, Jordan Ashlock, and Isaac Ashlock. "Grammy" loved teaching her grandchildren cooking, canning, sewing, and art. She will be remembered for her kindness and devotion to family.
