Wilma Jones, 91, of Garland passed away Feb. 27, 2015, in Dallas.
She was born Aug. 24, 1923, in Quinlan to Boyd and Allie (Parks) Adams. Wilma never met a stranger, loved everyone no matter what and her home was always open to anyone. She was pure of heart and was willing to donate funds for any cause. Wilma enjoyed sewing, needlework and having family and friends over to her house. She was a quilter extraordinaire. Wilma was a member of Daughters of the American Revolution, a 59-year member of the Eastern Star and a member of Pleasant Grove Assembly of God.
She is survived by her children, Paul Fisk and wife Fraya, James Fiske and wife Frieda, John Fiske and wife Elizabeth, Laura Ball and husband Calvin, Laverne Ketcherside and husband Mike and Gary Fisk; and many grandchildren; great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Wilma was preceded in death by her husband, John Jones, in 2003 and sons Charles and Bob Jones.
Funeral services were at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, March 4, at First United Methodist Church, 305 N. Josephine, Royse City, with Rev. Tim Marks officiating. Interment followed in Campground Cemetery in Poetry.
The family received friends Tuesday at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m.
