William Lewis Alderman, 88, of Rowlett passed away June 29, 2014.
He was born July 24, 1925, in Merida, Yucatan, Mexico, to Thomas J and Elisa (Gonzalez) Alderman. Mr. Alderman worked in the insurance industry until his retirement and was a faithful member of Lake Pointe Church in Rockwall.
He is survived by his wife, Jean Alderman of Rowlett; sons Mark Alderman and wife Jana of Rockwall and Bill Alderman Jr. of Rowlett; daughters Julie Pell and husband Phil of Plano, Kathy Lanza of Allen, and Amy Dryden and husband David of Parker; and grandchildren Amy Riggs of Providence Village, Jennifer Filipski and husband Matt of Plano, Matthew Alderman of Rockwall, David Alderman of Rockwall, Aubrey Alderman of Edgewood, Katy Culver and husband Cameron of Richardson, Michelle Lanza of Katy, Anna Lanza of Allen, Bailey Dryden of Parker, and Ava Dryden of Parker; and great-grandchildren Ethan Riggs, Thatcher Filipski and Chloe Culver.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m., July 3, at Lake Pointe Church Chapel, 701 E. I-30, Rockwall, with Pastor Steve Stroope officiating. A graveside service will be held at 9 a.m., July 4, at DFW National Cemetery.
The family will received friends July 2 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Resthaven Funeral Home-Rockwall Chapel.
