Ronald Dean Fulmer, 72, of Rockwall passed away Monday, July 6, 2015.
He was born April 2, 1943, in Bell Gardens, Calif. Ron lived in Rockwall for the past 29 years and was an active member of Lake Pointe Church. He was dedicated to his faith, family and friends. Ron was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing, his lease in Dumont and time in the mountains. He was dedicated to his coaching career and was blessed with continued friendships with many of his athletes and coaches.
Ron is survived by his loving wife, Betty (Benbrook) Fulmer of Rockwall; son Christopher Fulmer and wife Amy of Dallas; granddaughters Lauren Brooke and Ashley Grace Fulmer; sister Pam Carpenter of Friendswood; other relatives and many friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 11, at Lake Pointe Church, Main Sanctuary, 701 E. I-30, Rockwall, TX 75087 with Pastor Steve Stroope officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Ron’s memory may be made to Helping Hands of Rockwall, Lake Pointe Church (mylakepointe.org) or Kanakuk Kamps Christian Sports Camp (www.kanakuk.com).
