He was a faithful member of the New Horizon Vineyard Church and knew Jesus was his savior. He joined the Air force in 1959 and served for four years. Gene was immensely loved by so many and gave all his heart in return. He loved to serve his fellow man and would willingly reach out to help others when they were in need. He was incredibly intelligent and loved restoring antique radios and vintage vehicles. He was a wonderful example of how a man should love his wife, children and grandchildren and he will be missed dearly, but never forgotten.

I didn't get a chance to get to know Gene as well as I would have liked, but I do remember the times when he came to church. He always had a smile and a big hug. I sure do miss those. But I know he is smiling and hugging everyone in heaven.

I was so privileged to be married to this man. He supported me, loved me and made me a better person. The love I felt will always be carried in my heart.
