Paula Mullins Talley passed from this life on Dec. 27, 2013,, while at Baylor Hospital in Dallas surrounded by family and friends.
She was born Nov. 10, 1942, to James Roy and Pauline Mullins of Dallas. She was preceded in death by both parents.
Paula graduated from WW Samuell High School and attended East Texas State University. Her true devotion was being a wife to her loving husband of 51 years, Clyde, and mother to her three sons whom she cherished and adored. Paula was a member of many organizations including Rockwall Women’s League and The Rockwall Literary Guild as well as a founding member of AMICA.
She is survived by her husband, Clyde Talley; sons, Doug Talley and wife Suzanne, Chris Talley and wife Shannon and Craig Talley and wife Jamie; precious grandchildren, Berkley, Avery, Cole and Maggie Talley; her sister, Beth McClung and husband Ray; brother-in-law, Jerry Lynn; sister-in-law, Barbara Talley; and many beloved nieces and great-nieces, nephews and great-nephews.
Services were held 10 a.m., Jan. 2, 2014, at First Baptist Church of Rockwall, where Paula and Clyde are members. Interment immediately followed in Rockwall Memorial Cemetery. Visitation for family and friends was Dec. 31, 2013, from 3 to 5 p.m. at Rest Haven Funeral Home, 2500 State Hwy 66 East in Rockwall.
