Nancee Gay Boyce, 62, of Rockwall passed away of pancreatic cancer Friday, April 24, 2015, at her home.
She was born Feb. 8, 1953, in Pampa, Texas, to Bill and Josephine “Jo” (Wohlgemuth) Davis. Nancee was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She owned and operated an antiques business with her husband. Nancee, “The Lamp Lady,” was known for her unique handmade antique lamps.
Nancee is survived by her husband, John William Boyce of Rockwall; daughter Stacy (Stephens) Olson and husband Scott of Carrollton; two grandsons, Jacob and Cory Olson; her mother, Josephine Davis of McKinney; three stepchildren, John Boyce, Cathy Boyce and Judy Lyman, all of Chicago, Ill,; three stepgrandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her father, Bill Davis.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 2, at Rest Haven Funeral Home – Rockwall Chapel with Pastor Rick Donaho officiating.
