Retired Lt. Col. Norman L. Seligman, 76, of Rockwall passed away Jan. 8, 2015.
He was born April 1, 1938, in Boston, Mass., to Michael and Fannie (Seligman) Seligman. Norman proudly serviced his country in the United States Army in Vietnam. He later worked as a systems analyst at a computer programming company. Norman served his city in many capacities as a volunteer member of such organizations as the Tri-County Veteran’s Honor Guard, the American Legion, the Rockwall Police Department’s Citizens on Patrol and the Rockwall Fire Department’s Citizens Emergency Response Team.
He is survived by his loving wife, Anita (Feldman) Seligman of Rockwall; daughters Lisa Seligman and Jodie Seligman Meza, both of Dallas,; a granddaughter, Taylor Nicole Meza; and two nephews, Eddie Seligman and Howie Seligman.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Monday, Jan. 12, at Rest Haven Funeral Home – Rockwall Chapel with Pastor Rick Donaho officiating. Interment followed in Rest Haven Memorial Park.
