As we reflect on our precious mother and the life and legacy that she lived , we can only smile through our tears . You see, at her son, Jay's church, they have a mission statement that they repeat every service to remind us of our mission in life. It says,
"To demonstrate Christ's love in specific ways so that everyone we meet will know that they are Important , Loved and Wanted in Jesus name"
Our Mom is the embodiment of this statement.
Everywhere she went she demonstrated this. Even up till her last day here on earth, people who worked at the facility that she was in, who she really didn't even know would come in and see and love on her, most often on their day off because of the love that she showed to them.
Our goal is to be at least half the person she was in showing love.
We have no doubt that our Lord has said "Well done, my good and faithful servant" to her.
Until we meet again, Mom , we will continue your legacy.
We love you, Mom!
