Gloria Lucille Jones, 87, of Mesquite since the early 1960s, passed away Oct. 29, 2015, in Rockwall.
She was born Nov. 14, 1927, in Dallas to Thomas Jefferson Wooldridge and Annie Laurie (Hall) Wooldridge. Gloria was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She worked in the medical field as a nurse and was a member of First United Methodist Church of Mesquite.
Gloria is survived by her son, Tommy Norman Cade and wife Wanda of Gilmer; half brother Jimmy Wooldridge and wife Kay of Grand Prairie; a son-in-law, Adam Griffin of Marshall; grandchildren Scarlett Hazen, Audra Wadsworth, Spring Stracener, Crystal Hayden, Thomas Cade, Jade Chance, and Amberly Brown; and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Tommy Lyle Jones; sons Timothy Oak Jones and Gregory Lyle Jones; and daughters Gana Jones and Melany Griffin.
Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, at the Chisolm Cemetery Chapel with Dr. Joe Pool officiating.
