Frances Berniece Cook was born Dec. 12, 1927, in Okemah, Okla., to Fred Cook and Effie Thomas. During her summer breaks Frances would visit her father in Rockwall from Okemah Okla.
In 1952 she moved to Oak Cliff. While in Dallas she worked for Page Boy. She started out in their accounting department and then moved to working as an assistant to one of the Frankfurt sisters.
In 1991, Frances and her roommate, Betty Stolle moved to Royse City to be closer to Harbor Bay Marina off Lake Ray Hubbard where they both loved to fish.
For anyone who ever had the joy of meeting Frances, she always said she was the little old lady who jumped out of airplanes for her 75th birthday.
On July 25, 2014, Frances joined Betty, who passed June 22, 2000, from breast cancer for an everlasting fishing trip.
Frances was loved by many and will be truly missed.
