Felix's Story

Felix Andrew Frazier III (Trip/Triple), was born Feb. 5, 1943, to Dorothy Mae Spray Frazier and Felix Andrew Frazier Jr. in Richmond, Va. He passed away Feb. 16, 2015, at the age of 72.
Services were at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home of Greenville Thursday, Feb. 19, at 2 p.m. Burial will be at Memoryland Memorial Park, Greenville. Services were conducted by Pastor David Farmer.
Visitation was from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Felix graduated from Greenville High School with the Class of 1961. He graduated from East Texas State University in 1971 with a bachelor of science degree in physics.
Felix was a longtime employee at E-Systems-Raytheon-L-3 Communications. After retiring from L-3, he then went to work for SAP and traveled internationally as a systems consultant until he retired in 2008. He joined the Free Masons in 2012 and attained a 32nd degree in Valley of Dallas.
Felix married Patricia Carol Pollard on Feb. 8, 1964, in Garland; she preceded him in death on March 9, 2009. Felix married Joyce Barry on Nov. 16, 2011.
He is survived by his spouse, Joyce Barry Frazier of Rockwall, and his children, Stephanie Frazier of Royse City and Felix Andrew Frazier IV (Andy) and Jeanetta of Heath. He was also loved by his stepchildren, Patricia Daly of Irving and Barry Turner of Dallas.
He is also survived by two brothers and a sister, Steve Frazier and Kathy of Greenville, Candace Kelley and John (Dick) of San Diego, Calif., and Phillip Frazier and Pat of Austin. Uncle Triple was loved by numerous nieces and nephews, and five grandchildren, Jonathan Malone, Casey Frazier, Kale Malone, Felix Andrew Frazier V (Drew), and Tanner Frazier.
He was also preceded in death by his parents
Pallbearers were Jonathan Malone, Kale Malone, Reagin Parnell, Byron Frazier, Jeff Frazier, Josh Johnson, and Payton Politoski. Honorary pallbearers were the entire GHS class of 1961.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to the American Cancer Society in his name.
