Bonnie Butler Lofland, 85, a lifelong resident of Rockwall, passed away Feb. 2, 2016.
She was born Feb. 3, 1930, in Munson, Texas, to James Wallace and Bertie Sarah Ann (Coyle) Jayroe. Mrs. Lofland was a member of First Baptist Church in Rockwall and was a member of the Ruth Sunday School class.
She is survived by her children, Glenda Laughery and husband Dean, Mary Bell, Glen Butler Jr. and wife Kathy, and Paul Butler and wife Terrie; grandchildren Patrick, Marcus, John David, Cody, Andrew, Joseph, Amanda, Joshua, Jarrett, Christina, Blake, and Bonnie; and great-grandchildren Jacob, Clayton, Madisson, Makenzie, Cooper, Colton, Kylee, Gage, Parris, Garrett, Mabry, Adalay, Caroline, Sophia, Eleanore, Samuel, Brooks, Emelia, Rhett, Gage, Braylon, Wyatt, Harper, Greyson, and Addison.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Glen Butler; her second husband, Joe Lofland; and five siblings, Juanita Walker, Hayden Jayroe, Salena Mae Jayroe Oehlke, Pete Jayroe, and Wallace Jayroe.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 6, at Rest Haven Funeral Home – Rockwall Chapel with Mickey Lyles officiating. Interment will follow in Rockwall Memorial Cemetery.
